I attended the MLA Annual Conference in Rochester this past week. There were many break out sessions to choose from and I enjoyed the ones I attended. The best one I went to was put on by the Children & Nature Network and was called “Planting the Seeds of Learning: The Library as a Nature Based Learning Center. I also went to a thought-provoking session called “Privilege: Calling In, Calling Out, and Promoting Conversation”. I hope to use some of the things I learned in the near future.
