This camp was the most enjoyable camp I have been to in the past 3 years. I think it was because it seemed very ‘laid back’ and easy going. Nothing seemed rushed and the atmosphere was relaxing. The speakers were thorough about what the day would entail and when we would do things, and again, nothing seemed rushed. \
The guest speaker, author/illustrator Lauren Stinger, was enjoyable, fun, and informative. I liked her origami projects that she had us try. Her art work is amazing! I always enjoy hearing different viewpoints from other librarians on the books that we’ve read, as well as see how they could incorporate the book into some kind of activity for a classroom or library activity. It’s always so helpful to have input from others.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I hope will be duplicated again next year.
