This was my first time attending Camp Read-a-Lot and I went away with many new books and ideas to share with my students. I attended both days, but only reported on books for the Early Literacy Book List. It was great receiving clock hours for licensure! I had not seen Lauren Stringer or Laura Salas before, so it was enlightening to hear their history and ideas on books. I have always geared away from poem sharing, but they both shared some good ideas and I will be doing more with them. I loved the book discussion groups for sharing opinions on the books! I had a different perspective on some after hearing from others. Also, thank you for the freebie books that were given out at the end of the day.
