I feel so fortunate to have been able to attend this conference. It was in Cloquet, Minnesota, which was a beautiful setting. The conference was small, but very well organized with a great variety of sessions for all attendees. The keynote speaker was the ALA president-elect, and she gave one of the most inspiring talks I have ever heard. I went to sessions about a summer reading camp, a two-month road trip across the Lincoln Highway, about the new Minnesota Library Learning Network (MLLN), and I presented about my ongoing partnership with the Rock County Farm Bureau and all the programming and events we have been able to do with them. I came home with so many great contacts and so many ideas as to how to better myself and better my library. If you get the chance to attend this conference, I would highly recommend you do.
