The staff retreat was an amazing experience. They had three presentations. The Crime Spree which was given by Meredith Stanton Vaselaar. Teri Smith gave the Customer service presentation; it covered good and bad customer service. The last presentation was on Book display and Marketing tips. Two people, Angela McDougall and Emilirose Rasmusson, gave this presentation. Of all the presentations, this by far was my favorite. Some of the ideas they went over were: blind date with a book, where you cover the book with paper so you cannot see the authors name and what title may be, and making displays about books that became movies. If we have the option of going on another staff retreat, I will definitely sign up again.
