The PCLS Staff Retreat was a wonderful experience. Terri’s presentation on customer service was a terrific reminder of how libraries are more related to merchants than they are to museums. It was also nice to network with other librarians in the region and the books display presentation was eye-opening and inspiring. I think my favorite part was the “Crime Spree,” presented by Meridith Vasselar. It was my second time seeing the presentation, but it was just as delightful this time as it was the first time.
