The retreat delivered everything they promised – a comfortable setting, challenging information and time for collaboration with colleagues. I especially appreciated the presentations by Valerie Horton that addressed trends and changes in library services. It was empowering and motivating and I feel more confident about taking risks and making mistakes. I also was pleased to have a little time reviewing the ELM services and hearing more about the Learning Express Library database. Every time I have opportunity to meet with the area librarians I learn something new that I can apply to my school library and I get to know these wonderful people just a little better!
