This workshop was a high energy day that mainly reviewed newly published children’s books for K-6th grade. Deborah Ford is a nationally recognized librarian, teacher and presenter. If you like Camp Read-A-Lot you would love this workshop. The 150-page resource book is gold! She has included reviews of books, ideas for digital learning, general hints and suggestions from weeding to writing grants and fundraising. It is really practical information that can be used immediately. There were just 21 participants, but Deborah gives this presentation every year and though it is expensive I feel it is worth your time.
