Thank you to SAMMIE for the scholarship that allowed me to attend a FANTASTIC conference in Madison, Wisconsin.
It was so much fun to talk with Youth Services librarians from all over the United States; from Alaska to Connecticut. Partnerships within your community was one of the sessions I attended in which they discuss the partnerships between libraries and museums; we even did one of their STEM activities, built a hot-air balloon and flew it. After so many years doing my job, my next session helped me define my programming style and helped me to create even more exceptional programs. The whole conference was so invigorating and uplifting.
