I had a wonderful time at the PCLS Staff Retreat. I attended both days and stayed overnight. It was a great chance to get to know people from other libraries and make connections. I’m new to my position, so getting to spend time with veteran library staff was invaluable. The presentations were all informative and engaging. The Crime Spree presentation was super entertaining. It’s always helpful to get a refresher on good customer service. I got some great ideas and resources for making compelling displays and signage. Shalom Hill Farm was an ideal location. I would absolutely attend another PCLS Staff Retreat in the future.
