This was the first time I attended the Libtech conference. I totally enjoyed it. I was on the waiting list and was later contacted that my name had come up to attend.
Great information to bring back to my library. Opening speakers were great, especially the second day! It was amazing to see how work from volunteers with laptops made such an impact on the world and with tsunami’s: tracking reports from the news, people stranded, people who had last talked to loved ones in the area and such. Unbelievable!!
All in all it was a great event, glad I went.
