This year’s MLA Annual Conference highlights:
*40 in 50 Non-fiction book blast offers us that unique take on what’s new and exciting in the world of non-fiction. This session was entertaining and informative.
*Coming Together for National Library Giving Day…It was very exciting to hear about 3 different sized libraries approach to this event, and an opportunity that I certainly will be signing up for.
*Graphic Novels, and How to make them Pay! …was an excellent session on Graphic novels for a variety of age levels. Love the resource list too.
*We Haven’t Broken the Library: Challenging Perceptions and Creating Access through Elimination of Late Fines was an excellent session on eliminating fines. St Paul Public really did the research. I found this session was very interesting and informative.
