SAMMIE gave me the opportunity to attend the 2017 Fall SRP Resource Fair in St. Cloud. There were 3 different sessions. The first one was for early childhood (birth-age 3), 2nd presentation was for school-age/tweens, and the final presentation was on teens/adult programming. Each section covered displays, passive and active programs, as well as hints and tips for each age group. There was a time at the end of each presentation for questions, idea sharing, and hands-on-time with exhibits.
This was a very informative morning and helped me start thinking about books and projects we can do this summer with the theme “READING TAKES YOU EVERYWHERE”.
