I recently heard another person who attended this conference say, “I found ‘My People’ there.” This was my first time to attend and that was absolutely my experience, as well. There were a wealth of sessions on pedagogy and technology in higher education. Some of the sessions I went to: virtual reality, adaptive learning, student success, lifelong learning, using storytelling for educational experiences, and designing learning environments. I was also able to talk to the D2L staff (our LMS vendor) for information about some more advanced features and how to learn more. It’s a conference I hope I’m able to attend every year.
