Camp Read A Lot 2016 was wonderful. I enjoyed both the author and the illustrator and enjoyed going outside of my comfort zone to learn and try my hand at poetry and illustrations. It was a fun, practical way to learn about both. I also enjoyed hearing about the process they use to create their books.
My favorite part of camp is connecting with old and new friends, teachers, and librarians. Even though the book sharing is very short, I always gain valuable information and new ideas from the participants. I also enjoy taking the time to read all of the camp books and writing up the short summary. Thank you for helping me attend this valuable continuing education event.
