My second Camp Read A Lot did not disappoint! The keynote speakers were engaging and gave us wonderful ideas of ways to incorporate poetry and art into programs and lessons for kids. Our group discussions about the reading lists were also great forums for ideas of how to use each book for different audiences and purposes. The time flew by and I made many new friends and professional contacts. I am already eager for next summer’s camp and I know that the speakers and booklists will be enriching for both my library and my own personal growth.
